Welcome, You've found Detour! We've lost our bassist, but we're still going strong. We're a Alternative/Rock/Punk band, but who really cares about genres anyway? We're always on the lookout for shows to play, so if you have any tips give us a heads up. Well, in the beginning, it was me (Trison) on guitar and Cody on drums, as well as a guy called Brad Conrad who was in the millitary who was supposed to play bass and we called ourselves Legacy. However, due to conflicts with schedules, Brad never showed up, so for a while Legacy was just a idle pass-time for Cody and I.
Eventually, Christine joined us and took up the bass and the name changed to New Age Legacy. After a few shows and in preparation for a battle of the bands we decided to change the name to something a little more... um interesting? Anyway, Detour became our name after that point, and it's stuck ever since then.
After years of playing, Christine has left the band to pursue her own musical interests. We wish her luck.Have you performed in front of an audience?Live is the way to go! Playing on the same stage as some really great musicians is always a high point, and nothing beats the rush before a show.
