Band/artist history
HOMETOWN: Berkley, Michigan MUSICAL IDIOM: Loud, ultra-heavy rock LATEST ALBUM: Mighty Heavy and Powerful Loud MEMBERS/INSTRUMENTS: Jim Kaspari, guitars, vocals Steve Holeton, bass Tony Muscillo, drums RECORD LABEL: Galaxy 10 Records POINTS OF NOTE: Souldozer, noticed or unnoticed, will become the heaviest band on Earth, whether you decide to climb on board or not. The members of Souldozer are convinced that playing the Detroit music scene is similar to plowing through a field of shit. People should not only want to see Souldozer, they should be forced to endure them. ADDITIONAL DATA: Souldozer has performed at numerous venues in Detroit over the past ten years, (Alvins, The House of Shamrocks, Berkley Front, New Way Bar, The Old Miami, Gold Dollar, Jacoby's, Token Lounge, Griff's Grill, etc.), and has built a respectable following: nearly filling the Berkley Front to capacity on numerous occasions. Monday, March 19th, 2001 was the band's first ever arena show, having been booked by Olympia Entertainment to play Joe Louis arena as the night's only act.
