Delivering the freshest sound Newcastle has heard in a long time pushing musical boundaries beyond limit, Slider's sound is in a genre of its own and their brand of passionate premium riffage leaves you wanting more.Band/artist history
The band started off as a 3-piece in the bass player's kitchen, consisting of Shaun Dillon (vocals), Mark Osborne (bass) and Martin Cardwell (drums). They added rhythm guitarist Darren Burdis and a lead guitarist (Mark's cousin) to form a band that took lots of influence from Oasis and The Stereophonics. The lead guitar slot was then taken over by Martin Williamson to complete the 5-piece line up. We now play an original rock n' roll set and we love it!Have you performed in front of an audience? We have and will continue to play allover Newcastle, including top notch venues like the Head of Steam, The Cluny, The Bridge Hotel and many others. There are also plans to perform in Liverpool and London later in the year.

hey i like the track. did you know theres also a band in nottingham called slider. who thought of the name first?
hey, i came across this page my accident, but im from newcastle too, urban raincloud has got quite an oasisy feel, although the solo is more electrifying than most of theirs, its a great catchy tune though, although the more subtle beauty of devils snow was my favourite, brilliant lyrics and the melody really grows, another great song, keep it up, and feel free to check out my underproduced efforts
decent choons, s'good to hear music where you can actually hear the singer, and the music is really tight.
Although there's is one thing that lets the band down - I think hte singer sounds like an early Liam Gallagher...apart from that, it's bloody brilliant!
slider songs a pretty impressive x check them out
