hello an AOA to ya all.........hmmmmmmmmmm where shall i start........got alot to say.......well then......rizwan...qasim an i.......started of as friends........like all bands do but our friendship was kinda different that led us to form the band......i knew rizwan even before i came to pakistan.....we lived in leeds as my dad had gone to do his PHD....an so had rizwans dad........at manchester.......so we would have frequent trips to both places.......anyhow....we came to pakistan,lahore an settled here studyiing like all normal guys would do.........passed school an our matriculation,olevels an alevels an got into the finest universities lahore has to offer....punjab univeristy.........here is where qasim came into the picture.....rizwan an i stayed at the punjab univeristy staff colony for the professors just like qasim......we came to know him when our love for soccer brought us all together......we loved soccer an everything to do with it...at times only us three wolud be at the ground praticing.......neways soccer was just one of the sports all of us played..we would also play volleyball.....awesome jigz i swear fit game hoteee thee........first time we met qasim he was like all other guys....never had we thought of forming a band one day with him being the lead vocalist...lolzzz.......we were into all that guys stuff....an like everyother guy is lekin we wouldnt waste our time by lazing around....we would arganize stuff...relly gud at that.......lolzzzz.....kyun qasim.............then one day out of the blue i was like hey lets make a band an this started out when a friend of my brothers.....Afaq Ahmed son of Akhlaq Ahmed...yesh the famous singer......who also happend to work at CITY FM 89 but was offerd a job in dubai at a radio station as well.....he was on the bass....ala basss bajata tha woh...still miss him........neways we formed it an at first called the band...XONE.......then after alot of complicatoins an other stuff that u dont want to know abt......finally came up with the name X cube...........we would practice alot at his place........i was on vocals an rythem guitar.......then i was like we need a lead vocalist an i had qasim in mind cause i heard him singing those really old urdu songs that are usually playin in trucks...lolzzzzzzzz an i might add he sang them really well.........so we joined him in as well...........an then i told afaq we need someone on lead guitars an he said keyboard kay liyay bhi needed hai......so i asked rizwan being a really gud friend just like qasim an he jumped at the chance an went an bought a guitar the next day...no kiddin....neways we jammed together like hell.........became closer together cause we would hang out alot at cafe's an stuff.............the type of music that we wanted to incorporate in our songs was to do with TRANCE...JAZZ...an the NEW WAVE.....but keeping all types of genres in mind an especially giving an asian feel to the music an songs.........neways we did our first gig at queen mary.........an i swear when we entered where it was taking place....gals were like everywhere........an for the first time in our lives all of us felt like a real band.......we played our assses offf....... an that was the start to our awesome friendship an a begining to our music an band............peace out an enjoy......Have you performed in front of an audience?yesh we always play live as we believe that playin live brings out the best in u..:)
