This Year's Conversations This Year's Conversations
Blah blah blah...a catchy song about creeping intellect, big thoughts, house plants, and other silly things people talk about. From the "Sound the Alarm" EP.

Remember Colorado Remember Colorado
Kind of folky, sort of country, definitely power pop story of a road trip cross-country.

Good Angel Good Angel
Eric's song about drinking, smoking, and heartbreak transcends the usually cliched material and becomes a drunken sing-along anthem for the bar flies.
The Spark was:
Andy: drums, jazz
Eric: bass, vocals, rock
Jen: guitar, vocals, pop
Band/artist history
In May of 2001, Eric and Jen went to San Francisco and saw Jets to Brazil, Rocket from the Crypt, and the (International) Noise Conspiracy. When they came home, they decided to ditch their respective folk-pop outfits and start a rock band. Andy...well, Andy got roped into the deal by showing up on the porch while the idea was still fresh in Eric's head.
After trying unsuccessfully to get Andy to show up to practice, Jen and Eric operated as a two-piece until they got bored. In December of 2003, the Spark played their last show. They are all still friends.
