The vocals on the lo-fi versions are not clear.
Sorry to sound too technical but it's a phase cancellation problem caused by the algorithm that is used to convert the audio to lo-fi. If you think about it, the original audio file is being compressed immensely and a huge amount of digital information is being lost.
