From Tacoma, WA this powerful female vocal led alternative band Never Quiet Never Still, started in the heart of Lindsey Wilt.
In early 2004 she posted an ad a local music store. The ad caught the attention of Eric Crozier who then set up a jam session with friend and guitar player Ryan Scott. When Lindsey arrived that night to see Eric play, not only did she like the booming caveman drums but the dark articulate guitar caught her attention as well. Eric and Ryan were blown away with Lindsey's powerful voice which reflected the power of Carrie Akre and the wispy range of Dolores O'Riordan (the Cranberries).
As Lindsey, Eric and Ryan continued with long practices, and writing new songs they decided it was time to recruit a bass player. They placed an ad in a local magazine, which brought little response and poor results.
In September 2004, Eric, Ryan, and Lindsey decided to record without a bass player. Recording at GBM Productions in Puyallup Ryan played bass on all of the tracks.
In October 2004, they decided to put out another ad in the Seattle magazine/newspaper The Stranger, to recruit a bass player. The search was short-lived. Their second audition Vinny Beatty was the perfect fit. Vinny stemmed from a long background of Seattle bands which included the following: Dead Flowers, Love Chile, Sabre, Eucalyptus & Suicide Bride. Rounding off the songs with groove-like beefy bass lines, Vinny further solidified the songs and a new tighter & stronger set began to form.
Since early March of 2005 Never Quiet Never Still have been consistently gigging throughout the Seattle and Tacoma area. They have managed to gain accolades from three local newszines. There is no doubt that there will be more to come from Never Quiet Never Still!
