Stre Loc & Five One are a duo team of emcees who have been settin’ the northwest on fire and getting attention everywhere having performed with: Sir Mix-A-Lot, 2 Live Crew, Yukmouth, Roscoe, Tilo and more. Stre Loc is punchy, quick, and agile. Five One, from South Carolina, has an unmistakable, smooth southern style with a drawl. The album, produced by Gordon Hall, also features true turntable skills on tracks 3, 6, and 16 by “DJ Gumbeaux”, a well-known, contest winning freestyle DJ from New Orleans. You’ll also hear squeaky clean vocal dynamics from “Silva” on tracks 6 and 16.
