Bar Room Blues

Honky Tonk Rock at it's finest.
Based in Ft. Worth, The Gerald Bradley Band plays hard-driving Texas Rock, with all of the blues, country, and Southern rock influences the genre demands. The current roster formed during 2005 with a new rhythm section joining leader Gerald Bradley and guitarist Chip Woodburn, who have formed the nucleus of the band for several years. The new line-up clicked instantly and have recently recorded their first live demo. Working from a catalogue of over 70 original songs, this band is now ready to strike across Ft.Worth/Dallas, throughout Texas, and beyond.
Band/artist history
Gerald Bradley Vocals and Rhythm Guitar Gerald, a Ft. Worth native, picked up his first guitar when he was five, got serious when he was ten, played in his first band when he was thirteen, began writing songs when he was seventeen and has been crafting them ever since. Unrestricted from categorical boundaries, Gerald's music defines a style uniquely his own, with each song's lyrics reflecting a vision of this world that few possess. Gerald has played with numerous bands such as Blue Creek, High Strung and several bands of his own in clubs on the Strip and throughout the area, including Ft. Worth's venerable Skippy's Mistake. Now, with his current line-up, Gerald is looking forward to taking his music to the world. Chip Woodburn Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals Chip began playing guitar in the sixth grade in Farmville, Virginia, playing songs by the Rolling Stones, the Kingsmen, the Swinging Medallions "and any other three-chord songs I could figure out." Fifteen years later, he made his way to Dallas and began playing in local country cover bands, ending up playing guitar in The Boot Hill Gang, which was the house band at the Sons of Hermann Hall in the early ’80s. In addition searing his lead work with the band, Chip also performs with his wife Jonna in The Woodburns. They have played several Texas venues and have been featured on KNON radio with several songs from their CD 'Glass Heart' receiving airplay in Dallas and on KPFT in Houston. Michael Scudiero Bass and Backing Vocals Born near a family-owned restaurant in Kansas City where the jukebox man would give him stacks of "worn out" 45's, Michael has been rocking for as long as he can remember. Although he has studied music most of his life, songwriting, playing guitars, trumpet, and keyboards, his work at the Bijou club in the very early '80s might be his most notable contribution to the Dallas music scene, until now. Although he got his first guitar when he was seven years old, it wasn't until the new millennium that Michael picked up the bass. Since then, he's been wondering why he waited so long and refuses to put down his new instrument of choice. In addition to his groove playing with Gerald and the boys, Michael also plays in Monkey House, a local blues/rock band.
