Doing little...... Getting Enough!!Band/artist history
It started when I was in the 5 grade. I actually wrote poems at first. My introduction to becoming an emcee was after I heard my friendâs freestyling at a lunch table. I will never forget what he said that had me intrigue into rapping and becoming a lyricist; "I'll stick my foot so far up your ass, you'll be choking on my laces".... lol. Something so vile and gruesome sounded so dope and crazy. Interested in the art of freestyling I started listening to Mos Def and joined a rap battle site called Goldmic.com. From then on I started understanding the basics of rapping and became a better at writing music. I did live freestyle battles where I was Most Definitely nervous. I lost a few, but after I kept at it my battle skills became flawless and I lost to no one! I later joined another rap battle site called Letsbeef.com, which was more of a live freestyled based battle site. After scratching the surface of freestlying and writing music/Battles, my next task was recording. I learned that itâs not just about reading the words off the paper you have to add personality and emotion into it or in other words "Swag". From that I recorded my first tracks with my Cousin Azibo Bethel or NarC. The more I recorded Songs with my cousin and attended these rap sites I begun to prefect in the craft of song writing. Confident enough I posted songs up on various sites such as Soundclick.com and even made a music page on myspace.com. Now looking back on that first song I recorded with my cousin in his attic to the tracks imp recording, I see the drastic elevation in skill and devotion. I no longer want my boundaries to be these rap sites and forum, I feel with the talent and knowledge I know now I am ready for the industry.
