Representing Denver by way of Saginaw, Michigan Contact also spent time as a youth in Greenville, South Carolina. "I've been all over" explains Contact, "That's why you can't put a finger on my style like I'm this or I'm that. I can bust with all of them, gangstaz, mainstream, or backpack heads.His list of guest appearances on a wide variety of genres ranges from songs with Pound4Pound records to Tha fly.
Since 1996 Contact has been heating up Mile Hi city streets with his underground material and raw freestyles. " I used to be a battle rapper holdin down the school yard and house parties." After grinding on Denver's underground scene and being in such groups as Stress Crew with Joloni Williams a.k.a. Funkologist and D.J. Emir and starring alongside his cousin Bird$ in C.I.A. (Criminals In Action), Contact is ready to launch his solo career with the release of his first album, Highlands Policy on Blazin Up Entertainment. Working closley with Justin "Big J" Elder of Runaway Train Productions, Contact has put forth an album which is sure to have heads eager for future projects.Since Big J's departure to Los Angeles, Contact has been working ona mixtape which is soon to hit the streets and a second album which is scheduled for a spring of '05 release.The second album will feature production from If Music Could Talk Productions, Pound4Pound producer Lucciano, Lyrakill of Def DeaLaz, and Corey Stopperan of Fluid Independent Recordings.
