Carpe Diem is a group of 2 mc's, one female vocalist and a dj/producer. Initially the group began with Depth and Capricious, the two mc's of the group. Eventually when you write all day you end up looking for producers to make you instrumentals so we found Rippel (dj/producer). 5 months ago we implemented an addition to our camp by retrieving a Kay Jay (vocals). We recorded a basement album in Depth's living room with all of us working independently on this porject we called IRON SOUL POETRY. 14 songs of poetry oriented subjects.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live at our weekly hip-hop night every thursday.We bring in various aspiring acts to add a menu to our weekly feast of mc's. We've been touring for 2 years all over western Canada and soon we'll be touring across all of Canada coming up on August 10th. It's how we live and eat. Every gig is a festive experience in our books.
