I was born into this world, where music tries to prevail over our hatred, prejudice, and countless defects of character toward one another. Music also tries to soothe our own personal defects of character, well within our own starving spiritual souls. The majority of music can be our very own great Teacher in the air, being an invisible and invincible force that plays to teach us about love, sadness, laughter, peace toward our fellow man/woman, and much about life itself.
Rock and roll embraced me at an early age; it taught me how to become a striving musician. Then it taught me how to develop a never-ending passion for music. I haven't been "normal" since! I've come to understand how music can make one crazy; crazy that I have countless original compositions in my head, which need to be released to the world so that when my time on this confused Earth is up, I can rest in peace!
Try to put yourself in my shoes. Nevermind, sometimes it's so hard to explain that you have this "life-threatening" matter that needs to be heard out; to be taken into consideration and understood. Nobody seems to care, much less even give you the time of day! You've been entered into their short-term memory banks and there you will remain.
Some people have asked, "Why the mask?" Please don't ask. It's not a very pretty story. Let's just say that Fate and Time dealt me the wrong cards, and I have nothing better to do than live with "a dead man's hand". Every day is Halloween for me! It's kind of frightening what my life has endured, but realistically true.
Enough about my agitated life; listen to my new CD "The Party Accident". These original compositions have been compiled for you to listen and enjoy. With much appreciated help from www.cdbaby.com, you can sample, listen and enjoy some of the songs contained in,"THE PARTY ACCIDENT !!!", then hopefully decide to purchase it at the reasonable price that cdbaby and I have decided upon!
I really don't care about the fame and glory that comes with super stardom, but somewhere along that "fast lane", I hope to at least get $$$!

A "Note" About My Music
Like so many other great musicians (not meaning that I am great), my composing achievements developed from a combination of being self-taught, as well as exchanging musical ideas with other devoted musicians like myself.
At the age of 12, my mother noticed and took to heart the "frenzy" that I was overcome with. She agreed to let me begin guitar lessons shortly thereafter. I realized that I couldn't hold an interest in being taught single notations, such as "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", "Clementine", "Camptown Races", and "Oh, Suzanna". By the time I was 17, I began experimenting with various inverted guitar tunings; kinds of tunings that no other guitarist was using, at least to my knowledge.
From the abnormal tunings, I had to relocate finger positioning in order to obtain chord structures with the root note, then following strings in that certain range of overlapping harmonic qualities. I noticed the sound was different that the sound a guitarist achieves with the standard tuning associated with the invention of the guitar. I have often wondered who invented the guitar and how he racked his brain to invent chords! It must have driven him crazy, or at least half crazy from music, like I am! (Don't they say that Beethoven went deaf from trying to find the "lost chord"? Well, at least I still have my ears.)
About my CD, "The Party Accident", five of the songs were written in standard tune. Unique inversions include:
1. "Ole-Fashion Love (Under The Sun)" had four of the six strings converted to inversions.
2. "Floating (An Instrumental)" was composed in an E tuning, which many other guitarists use from time to time, especially for a slide guitar.
3. "Bye-Bye, (Baby Bye-Bye)" I took my low E string and tuned it up three steps to a G note. My poor guitar neck! I don't know how it takes some of the abuse I give it sometimes, but it screams and asks for more!

On The Lighter Side Of My Music
I am currently recording my own style of Classical, Jazz, Electronic, and Country compositions. I hope to sell some of them to the film industry as instrumental scores to be heard in films or television. I wouldn't mind being a Henry Mancini or Mark Post. I could stay somewhat in the back row of the crazy business of music and make lots of money, hopefully...
To my Rock and Roll Family, I promise you that my next CD will be more advanced than "The Party Accident". It's going to get crazy because The Phantom of Rock has not yet begun to play! ROCK ON!
