Couk is the collective name of a father and son musical act, with Dr. Captaik J. Rodgers on the triangle and his son Cowerin' Couk Rodgers doing just about everything else. Other members of the extended Rodgers family sometimes like to remix tracks. Couk use a lot of samples from popular soundclick members, without their permission.Band/artist history
1955 - Captaik Josephat Rodgers is born in Sheffield, UK
1977 - Captaik joins a small local band called "The Neewas". They split two days later for no reason.
1985 - Captaik goes to see the film "Juniour" even though its not out yet and is inspired to give birth to his son Cowerin' Couk Rodgers out of his own head.
2001 - Cowerin' Couk starts his own solo work but it sounds crap, and so disguises this lack of talent as "comedy".
2005 - Father and Son join forces to create the mighty Cluttered Cockroach EP
2005 - With a host of eager remixers, Cluttered Cockroach is extended with the original 6 tracks, 5 remixes, 3 new songs and some of the original tunes from which the Couk songs stole from. The album "The Pink and Brown Album" is born.What equipment do you use?
