Although singer-songwriter Joyce Lee was classically trained to play the piano since she was 5 years old, she decided to pursue a different musical style after falling in love with rock n' roll. At 16, she taught herself to play the guitar and began writing her first songs. Aside from her catchy songs and her sassy and witty lyrics, what really draws people to Joyce's music is her powerful, expressive and soulful voice. To hear music from the songwriter who's been called "brilliant" and is "...as beautiful off stage as she is on..." check out music from her upcoming EP on Myspace, Facebook and Reverbnation.
My influences are anything and everything from Mozart to Ella to irish punk to brit rock to pop and metal. Sounds like a mix of KT Tunstall, Michelle Branch and Alanis Morrisette.
