starquan is a alter ego of a real life street hustler.formerly known as shorty crime a gangsta from brooklyn,ny who did 8 and a half years for manslaughter.well upon his realease he had to have a steady income or his p.o would violate him. so his parole officer instructed him to seek and maintain employment.as most brothers coming home from the penal system for something very serious he failed.not because he chose to but because of the hideous nature of his crime.so he knew that gunz and violence was not the way.so he turned to the power of hustling.from this a star is born.knowing that the hustle wouldn't last forever. he started making mixtapes and testing a new type of drug to sell called rap.and the rest will be history .Band/artist history
