Rock Unplugged

Don't you look at me. In my little corner of space and times I like to stare at the rain coming from outside the window. It is the sparkle that lights our chests behind the wall, while all the screams and laughter are bouncing everywhere. Two minutes to paradise. Paradise is a strange word to us, to me personally it is represented by squared meters of metal, who launch their wings across the beings. We are foots above everyone else... Does that not feel good? Anytime you feel something runnin' against you, and you see red lights on top of you, thou shall not stop it, Overdose is here.
Band/artist history
Overdose started out in September 2004, from singer/pianist Francesco Iannuzzi and guitarist Jeremy Drexler, trying to get have fun playing serious music. They recruited classical guitarist Magnus Vigeland and grecian drummer Kostas Galanis. They toured with this formation and did a couple of gigs. As new Dream Theater fan bassist Morten Aulund started to make his way into the band, Jeremy decided to search for better luck elsewhere. Overdose had been short of a bassist, and now was short of a guitarist. The choice for the leftover spot came upon tapping guitarist Daniel Clements. With this formation Overdose partecipated to a 8 band competition in their own town, and got awarded the prize for Best Performance. They were so happy for the award they had to... give up on their drummer, for he graduated school and decided not to take part in the band anymore. Their current drummer is scottish jazz player Gordon McNeill with whom they played the last gig of the year at the International School of Dusseldorf's International Fest. More news to follow...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we do.. any event we can be part of in our city basically..
Your musical influences
Classic rock I guess... blues is the funniest genre ever.. and some a-cappella when needed... I mean listen to our songs for the sake of the band!!
