After releasing a 7-song EP in March of 2001, Craig spent most of 2003 recording a debut album at Sound on Sound studios in Peterborough, Ontario. 15 songs and a blown budget later, it was scrapped - because in one freaky week in June of 2004, everything changed.
Thats when Craig recorded some demo songs at a home studio. Recorded primarily live off the floor, and along with a sprinkling of production touches, the demos turned into an album Lawnmower Sessions a blend of pop sensibility, dark tones and the honesty of the pure, live performance.
The 12-song debut, featuring the stellar talents of James McKenty (The Spades), Richard Simpkins (Rick Fines Trio) and Rich Jochelson (The Brown-Eyed Susans), reflects Craigs haunting vocals, immediate melodies and lyrical themes of isolation and loss. Two of the tracks - Sun Dried and In Your Arms - have been featured on 94.9 The Rocks indie show, The New Rock at 9.
Craig is currently performing in the Toronto area with his band featuring Rich Jochelson on bass and Joe Graham on drums.
