Don't Listen is personal music project by one person: me. I write and perform the music all on my own. My influences are well diversified and so is the music I tend to create. I like to keep things different and fresh, and not stick to a particular genre or style.Band/artist history
Don't Listen was created back in 1999, on the eve of the millenium. I recorded a few cover songs with my brother's guitar on my computer, as well as a few instrumental tracks. From there I was hooked, and continued working on writing and recording ever since.
Since then, DL has accumulated around 15 actual songs along with various melodies that still need tinkering with.Your musical influences
Danzig, Nine Inch Nails, and Black Flag (Rollins-era) are among my top influences in music. I also listen to Mellowdrone, A Perfect Circle, Radiohead, Audioslave, Alice In Chains, and the Silent Hill soundtracks on a pretty regular basis.What equipment do you use?
