The members of A Wake For Daedalus met at a Star Trek convention in the mid-1980's. They were originally known as Nightbeast, enjoying a brief but ultimately self-destructive stint as local heroes of soul-shattering rock. Now they're back. They are: Johnny O'Neal - bass, Gabriel Von Carpenter - guitar and cowbell, Dave - drums and beer.
These stalwart lads have braved many a genre, only to break them all with their sonic power.
These days, they are branching out into cutting-edge sound such as "Quilting Rock", "Eastern Bloc Rock", and "Your Mum".Have you performed in front of an audience?A Wake For Daedalus plays live whenever and wherever possible. Bars and basements are the most common venues, but they are open to other possibilities such as weddings, bar mitzvahs, and funerals
