About Symbolic Language
One cold November Winter @Tone3's old dominionAlhambra,CAa group of friendsJoselph,OffdaTop,CousinSteez,Tone3 were recording a track. They had received news that an old aquaintence Meta4icly Speaking later to be named Auxiliary-In from High School was coming down to rip the track with them. It was only right that they decided to write a track about a good friend they didn't f**k with anymore her name was Alice Tablits.You Know!Well weeks later Tone3 moved and the sessions no longer were a consistant process. January 04' Lost and a little dis-orientated Joselph recieved a call from still, Meta4icly Speaking, a strange call at that, asking if he wanted to rock a track with him and Joselph accepted. Before this moment Joselph had only kicked it with Meta4 for a minute and was kind of shocked at the gesture. Joselph didn't realize that Meta4 really thought he was an arrogant Emcee. He took his confidence for cockiness. At this time, Joselph was doing his best to master technique, a perfectionist who knew that none of his friends worked as hard as he did and to him that was very apparant. He was a Poet turned Emcee that was content with his. Meta4icly on the other hand was a Producer,Engineer,Emcee,Father,Husband,PaceWalkingScatterBrain but, still willing to put it down through his daily madness. The 1st track was "2 Worlds Collide" not one of there favorite songs, but you could tell where both Emcees came from before they started working together. Both born in Circa'1980 a Peices and Saggitarius with stong views and very different views each with there own influences and stories that have yet to be told. At this time the objective was to bring all there friends together to build creatively and do something with there music. They made music with friends from Pomona Burdank,SanGabrielValley,and LA CountyIRIE1'S. Through this time yet to be named Symbolic Language continued to work on tracks between the two of them. Joselph had some doubts about working with now Auxiliary but still saw mad progress being made. The proof was in the pudding and it was hard to deny.It was hard to build with a bunch of people who procrastinate. Symbolic Language understands that we all have lives to live but, remember what your passion is because"The passionless live life scenceless." If Auxiliary can show up @ The Project Blow every Thursday go to work, be a Dad,a husband with daily trials and tribulations then none of you Father F**kers have no exscusesjust to the homies,lets ride. Joselph realized that Auxiliary couldn't have picked a better name because he's the type of person that is there for you when you don't need help or when you THINK you don't need help. In June 04' Auxiliary started going back to the Project Blow but this time for the Openmic not the tight live performances from the OG Blowdians. He notified Joselph and since then they have been trying to do there thing EVERY Thursday. Being fans of the Project Blow it's an honor for Symbolic Language to rock that stage. They have had the honor to open for some of their biggest influences Abstract Rude and Mika 9 @ The Goodhurt. Fast forward to February 05' ,Sean Healy presents hit them up on myspace after hearing tracks "Symbolic Language"Time is Now" and"Bipolar" and asked them to open up for AB. Shocked and pleasantly surprised they finalized it when they sighned the contract. Only a year after working together Symbolic Language has big plans for there future. Rewind about five months and after about a hundred names they went through in September 04' Auxiliary said, What about Symbolic Language? Joselph replied "That's tight, I'm glad I thought of it!
