Mars Mars

Instrumental track featuring a soft, mysterious introduction and a soaring guitar solo, as well as some bizarre sound effects recreating outer space noises

Instrumental Rock

I'm a 19-year-old student, studying Journalism and Radio Production at Chester University (Warrington campus). I recorded a couple of tracks for my Music Tech A-level last year which I've uploaded. One day I'll start writing/recording again and the stuff will be up here!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I played for a band called D.N.A () for four years and had some rocking times and played plenty of regular live gigs. As for my solo career, I don't have any plans yet but I want to get myself seen asap even if I'm just out with my acoustic. Got a few covers so a gig might be on the cards soon...!
Your musical influences
I'm really into the music of Pink Floyd, which is great influence to the music I produce solo-wise. However, I'm also a huge Queen fan and I play a replica of Brian May's custom-built Red Special. My guitar teacher is brother of Gary Moore, so there's a big influence from both of them!
What equipment do you use?
Apart from my guitar and a Line 6 Spider II amplifier, most of the instruments heard on my solo tracks are synthesized through a Korg synth using a computer program called MicroLogic. It's not the most impressive program but I like it and does what I want it to! Since moving on from Clevedon School I've been mainly playing my Tanglewood Odyssey electric/acoustic and that's what I'll be playing for any solo gigs I get in the near future.
