The KOLYBEL Band is located in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia. The band consists of five members (vocal, drums, bass, guitar & a Dj) and plays music that comprises elements of hard rock, funk and hip-hop. The Band sings both in Russian and English
Band/artist history
It exists from year 1994 (the first concert took place in "TAM-TAM" Music Club in St. Petersburg, on the 7th of January, 1994.) By now, the band has two albums released. The biggest Russian Label specialized in rock music - Moroz Records Co. released the first album called STEREO in 1995 (CD & MC). The album was sold out promptly both in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. The second album STEREOKAIF was released in 1998 by a St. Petersburg record Co. called Zvezda Records (CD & MC). At the present moment, the third album is ready. It was recorded live in two sessions during summer and winter of 1999 and mixed in January of 2000.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
The band plays mostly in the clubs of St. Petersburg and Moscow (both plugged and unplugged) and has its audience that has a strict tendency to grow bigger and bigger. Apart from that, KOLYBEL also played at bigger stages and concert halls: Petrovsky Open Stadium, Jubileinij Stadium, Oktiabrsky Concert Hall, Kosmonavt Concert Hall, etc.
