Skitzotik
Hard rock with an early ninetees flavor.Something like Skid Row.The guitar work and vocals are sick!

seductress seductress
This is a song about a stripper I dated briefly. She was hypnotic when she moved, and she had cat eyes.We wrote this with an opium den kind of flavor to it.Enjoy!

King of the Sky King of the Sky
The story of an ace pilot who's love of flying is used as a killing machine in war.He decides to fly into the sun , like Icarus.

Up There Up There
What if there was another planet where the people never had original sin? What if they lived in peace and could not imagine war?

This is a recording taken from the first Skitzotik demo. This song was what got the band a record deal, but it was never featured on any album. It was recorded in one take onto 8-track magnetic tape, so the quality is low.But the song rocks!
Skitzotik was formed in 1993.They released a self entitled debut album in 1995.Their efforts were met with a great deal of enthusiasm by the press and their fans. After doing well in Japan and many parts of europe as well as South America, Skitzotik went back into the studio to record their follow-up entitled "Prozac Cinema".Unfortunately, their record company decided that it was much more profitable to sell known hits, so they put all attention into selling tribute albums."Prozac Cinema" never saw the light of day.So it has been nearly fifteen years since some of the tracks featured here from the first album have been heard by anyone but a band member. And some tracks have never been heard by anyone but band members at all.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
The band has not played together for many years now.But I would like to see that change.
Your musical influences
Rock and roll bands. All of 'em.
Anything else?
Great songs here from a band that just had poor timing. At the time of their first release, the music scene began to change to what we now refer to as grunge.Skitzotik was NEVER a hair band.So as a result of foolish, outdated and ridiculous industry practices, a great band slipped through the cracks.Through this and other sites, we hope to at least give their music a chance to be heard.
