City of Stars originated in May, 2003 in good old Buffalo, New York. The band consited of Joe Barnett(Lead Vocals/Guitar), Dan Buziak(Drums/Back up Vocals), and Matt Herod(Bass/Back up Vocals). From there they played shows all around the WNY area and came out with their first breakthrough 12 track CD:
City of Stars- Burn it and pass it along-
But as with any band City of Stars encountered some "Technical Difficulties" which resulted in the loss of their bassist Matt. In desperate need of a strong bassy meathead the band had a fellow that goes by the name Pat Devine to play bass. After that they took off like a Russian Rocket and landed in the Studio to record a three song independant demo which was loved by all there established fans. With the band growing bigger and bigger every day it was time to explore new territories, they drove cross Country to California to get more exposure and plain and simply just to have a good time. After all that fun and traveling the band had a six month hibernation period in Dans basement to create new material and a tour listing for the next upcomming album: City of Stars- Attack of the Stars- which is now availaable!Your musical influences
