Here are a few songs I've written and recorded in the English countryside over the last year or so. They are not folk in the sense that I sing about picking cider apples or pig farming (though I dont disapprove of either of these activities!), but rather songs massively influenced by nature and the anti-consumerist, anti-materialist and non-conformist lifestyle I love. If I had to describe them Id say they were honest and quiet songs, but Id really rather you made up your own mind about what they are and what they mean. I hope to God they arent as painfully lifeless as the "marketable" abominations you'll find in the charts. If you like them (or if you hate them) please give me an email at email@example.com,
Joanna Newsom, a newish Harp-playing folk singer, is fantastic and Ray Lamontange and Bob Dylan and Nick Drake and I could go on forever...
