REPLACEMENT KILLA
Born Guy M. McPherson in Jubilee hospital, downtown Kingston, Jamaica, Replacement Killa, was raised in East Kingston, in a rough ghetto community called Rollington Town. Ever since he was little music has been in his blood. Influenced by his uncle and older cousin, a Rasta man, who toured all over Europe and is a veteran in the music business, Replacement Killa, as a teenager started to realize his talent. As a youth he often imitated artists such as Bounty, Beenie Man, Buju Banton and would often get told that he sounded just like them.
In 1997 Replacement Killa left his island of Jamaica and moved to Philadelphia, PA. Exposed to different lifestyles and different people Replacement Killa started to write and record music at his friend Richies studio in Philly, named Blazing Hot. Replacement recorded his first song their and began to realize that even though music is fun, it takes hard work and dedication.
After years of dedication Replacement Killa is now taking his music to the next level. Replacement wants the people to know that when they hear mi song, dem know its real. I try to reach a different audience with mi songs, some fi di rude boyz, some fi di girlz dem and the conscious-ites dem.
