I've been DJing for about seven years now. I have a vast collection of vinyl. I have written two albums, these tunes are from my second one.Have you performed in front of an audience?I used to DJ a lot in the Westcountry. Playing at various clubs and house parties. I play French House and Deep House. when I moved to London, No one was really into House anymore so I got out of DJing and into writing. Now house is coming back in a big way, so there's more jobs innit.
Your musical influences
The act which inspired me to write this album was Mylo and his album destroy rock and roll. I'm into lots of diverse house music especially deep and french house. I like Other acts like Kruder and Dorfmeister and DJ Shadow. However I also like electro and 80s style house. Les Rhythms digitales. I've liked Fatboy slim ever since I heard him at Glastonbury in 1998 when he was just getting big. I like those real ibiza compilations as well. Not the club ones but the ones that play loadsa wicked house and it just makes me think of parties on the beach. Real Ibiza. I also like generally any other genre of music. Especially metal and punk.What equipment do you use?
I use a PC with Logic and Reason. It's not my ideal set up but it makes do. I use the audio instruments in logic and lots of refills in reason. I mastered the tracks in my friend's studio he uses a G5 and Protools.Anything else?
I am not only into writing house music. I have written some conceptual art pieces which I will post here in due time. I am into painting pictures with sound. I also write classical music and at the moment am writing backing tracks for rap tunes.
