Forlorn Hope was formed in the year 2002 as the first Black Metal act from Kandy,Sri Lanka. The band started its journey with only three members who are namely Buddhika (Lyrics/Vocals),TPKR (Drums) and Darshan (Guitar).
The members we influenced by the likes of Bathory,Gorgoroth,Mayhem,Burzum,Enthroned and Emperor whilst the lyrics were inspired by sadism,religious or political oppression and misanthropy.
As time went by Forlorn Hope was joined by Dias on Bass and Banuka on guitars, The band also explored a more melodic side with their debut ep "Wilted" which featured Mositha on keyboards.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes
