1997
-Effluvium is formed in San Pablo City, Laguna Philippines by three juvenile delinquents, amidst the jeers of the dominant punk scene in the city, the band stood out like a sore thumb--being influenced by 70's prog rock as well as swedish melodic death metal. Playing originals and tackling complex musical pieces even before they could play their instruments well.
2000
-recorded a cassette demo -'Genesis of Our Conquest" that circulated in the international tape trading circuit and earned mention in ultrawimpy rag Metal Maniacs.
2001
-Records "Claws of Twilight" debut cd/demo
2003
-Current line-up records "The Phantom Shadows" CD distributed by condemend records
-Was included in a few compilation releases with local warhorses Pagan Fire and Icarrion
2004
-Effluvium changes its name to Negatron but the music remained kick-ass
-Recorded Messiah of Damnation CD from which "Exerion" is is taken.
-Malaysia Based Afterlife productions relesases a limited run of 500 copies in vinyl and cassette only formats of "Thermal Schock"-- songs were taken from Effluvium's Phantom Shadows and
Negatron's Messiah of Damnation.
2005
-plans to record another demo cd
-the quest for third world domination continues !Have you performed in front of an audience?The band has been giging locally for over 3 years and has gained mention in the local fanzines.
