Progressive Rock Instramental
The music included here is stuff that I have either writen or co-writen with my friends Todd Gray, Peter Rondinone, Barry Thompson and George andrade. I play the keyboards mostly but also have some very basic guitar skills. Some songs even feature me playing an electric bass guitar. When Todd was involved, the drums are real; otherwise they were programmed on my computer. My college friend Todd Gray is a multitalented musician who plays drums primarily but is equally adept at the guitar, keyboard and bass guitar. Todd currently plays drums for Brian Waite who writes childrens music. Peter Rondinone plays guitar on and wrote a couple of the songs included here. Barry Thompson is an extremely talented guitar player who also lends his voice for "Slow Ride West". George Andrade is a talented writer who supplied the lyrics to "Slow Ride West".
Band/artist history
I met Todd Gray in the late 80's in college and began collaborating with him on many different original compositions. Over the course of several years we have written and recorded over a dozen songs together. Peter Rondinone and I met in the early 90's at an engineering company in NH. Peter plays guitar and we collaborated on several tunes together before we moved on to pursue different passions. I met Barry Thompson and George Andrade through a progressive rock band forum in 2003. Our similar interests in music have allowed us to keep in close touch and even record a few songs together.
Your musical influences
Pink Floyd, Yes and many other Progressive Rock and Blues based bands.
What equipment do you use?
Music Creator 4 and a midi controller. I also have a Fender guitar that is used seldomly.
