Born and raised in Long Island NY, Mike became attracted to hip-hop music at an early age from local artists such as Rakim, De La Soul and Biz Markie. A musical enthusiast, Mike grew up attracted to all forms of music from R&B, Rock to Soul but it was artists such as Nas, Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. that opened his eyes to art of wordplay in the Hip-Hop genre. Mike became so infacinated with the music he started writing lyrics at the age of 12 and quickly learned he had a talent for the art. Mike's debut album, "Like It Or Not" was released in 2005 independently and received outstanding reviews from the hip-hop community. After a 6 year hiatus, Mike is back in the studio working on a mixtape with DJ Evil D titled "The Good, The Bad & The Evil" which will set up as a prelude to the long-awaited sophomore album "The D-Day Project" which is slated to be released by 2012.Band/artist history
