The band is a 10 man band that sings FUSED REGGAE(a reggae pattern that is infused with some traditional African Instruments and melodies).Formed in 1999,the band has played at various shows and concerts in Nigeria.Presently,the band has a working understanding with World Reknowned flutist Tee Mac and the band opens up his shows.
After many year...s on the local scene,the band is set to take FUSED REGGAE(our African reggae pattern) round the world.
The band also opens for Femi Kuti and the Positive crew at the new African Shrine on Fridays and Sundays.So,when next you're in Lagos,Nigeria,do not hestitate to join us!!!Band/artist history
JAHCUB,THE BAND LEADER IS A MULTI INTRUMENTALIST.HE PLAYS THE GUITAR,BASS GUITAR,KEYBOARD AND DRUMS.
HE WAS THE LEAD SINGER AND GUITARIST AT THE BOB MARLEY NIGHT 2001 ,ORGANISED BY THE ALLIANCE FRANCAIS IN BOTH ACCRA,GHANA AND LAGOS,NIGERIA.
HE HAS PLAYED WITH VARIOUS BANDS BEFORE FORMING HIS OWN BAND IN 1999.HE WAS THE LEAD KEYBOAR...DIST FOR MIKE OKRI TO THE BENSON AND HEDGES CONCERTS IN NIGERIA.HE WAS ALSO A BACK UP KEYBOARDIST FOR BLAKKY AND A FORMER BAND LEADER OF THE ATUNDA ENT,LACAMPAIGNE TROPICANA.
HE HAS ALSO PLAYED AT VARIOUS CLUBS INCLUDING THE COLISEUM WHERE HE WAS THE LEAD KEYBOARDIST.
HE WAS NOMINATED AS THE BEST UPCOMING ACT(MALE ) AT THE AWARD FOR MUSICAL EXCELLENCE IN NIGERIA,(AMEN AWARDS)2003.
