catalog only is the Detroit music you never hear about. It's not the raucous noise from the garage or the beats from the inner city. It's Detroit music from the basement. It's the music that's made when you've been trapped inside for 5 long winter months. While outside it's gray snow and gray skies you stay inside and you play, you play and you write. You write songs that aren't written for commercial appeal or indie acceptance. You write something that matters, songs for emotion, songs to stay warm.
Jordan and Dave decided to start writing songs together, and they wrote Small Changes and Gone Are the Days together, with Jordan on guitar and Dave on bass. Giertz was brought in to play drums and John was roped in on the keys soon after that. Dave switched to guitar when Brian was brought in on bass only to be replaced by another Brian that played bass. Here we are today one big happy family.
Playing live is neccessary. We wouldn't do it if we didn't like it. There's nothing else like it. The amount of energy and the feeling of the crowd you get from it is amazing. Especially when you've been on the road for a while and some close friends and loved ones make a road trip to come see you. It doesn't get any more special than that.
We are comprised of 2 guitars, a keyboard, bass, drums and of course, all the other gear that goes along with it.
You need to see us live if you have the chance. Our show is packed full of energy that captivates the crowd and other musicians alike. If we had the money for some pyrotechnics and massive light shows we'd have that, but since we don't we just bring the Rock and/or the Roll.
