Hey, we're The Lugnuts, from Woodinville/Kirkland/Bothell, Washington. We're seniors at Inglemoor High, and we've been playing together for about a year. We are:
Darek Cioch: Vocals/Guitar
Adam Goodwin: Vocals/Guitar
James Ypma: Vocals/Bass
Dan Sito: Vocals/Drums
We've just made a CD, and are interested in playing shows in the Seattle area.Band/artist history
As the story goes, four young men with a common dream of musical greatness banded together in Liverpool, England, and proceeded to take the world by storm, leaving their mark on the very definition of music for all time. They became known as The Beatles.
Forty-six years later, four other men formed a band in Dan Sito's garage near Woodinville, Washington. They call themselves The Lugnuts, and they know that international sucess is only a stroke of luck and a couple good haircuts away.Have you performed in front of an audience? We do play live. We are a fairly new band, and we've played four shows, the biggest being at the Kirkland Teen Center. We love playing live, and we take the opportunity to go nuts once we're up on stage. One especially fond memory is when Darek and Adam had an ice cream eating contest during a song.
Your musical influences
First and foremost, we love this band from Vancouver BC, called Chinatown. Their stage presence is most phenomenal. Other influences include Silvertide, Kiss, Boston...basically a bunch of rock bands.
We're into crashing guitars, booming bass, and thunderous drums, as well as piercing vocals. What equipment do you use?
For guitars, we use the lovely Gibson Les Paul, Harmony, and Lotus brands
Amps: Darek uses a Marshall AVT50, and Adam's got a Crate
Drums: Dan's got a mixture of stuff, Pacific heads, Pearl pedals and cymbals...I'll ask him later.Contact
