The guitarist, Maik, was 9 years old when he started playing guitar. He'd found his destiny. At the age of 12 he met Dave, the rapper. Back then, Dave played the guitar too. They started playing together..
As Maik focussed on playing the guitar, Dave's attetion was drawn to rap. He started writing rhymes, good ones too!
In 2001 Maik and Dave got together with a drummer and Dick, the bass-player. They formed a band called "Crosswize". As of that moment, Crosswize started making rock with a hiphop flavour.
Today, Crosswize has a new drummer, Jurjen, and a new name: Red Flag Movement.
Red Flag Movement now mixes rock, rap, jazz, funk...etc. All this mixed into one sound creates an original vibe. Just check it!Have you performed in front of an audience?Of course we play live!
It's probably the best thing about being a band...
