JBS-BaroC is the campus band at IIM Calcutta. The line-up changes with each successive batch that passes out of the insti. I was a member of the 1996-98 edition.
Band/artist history
Too long to fit in here.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
JBS-BaroC reunions are held at (ir)regular intervals in various cities in India. This one was held in April 2004 in the garden city at a lovely rooftop of an office building in South Bangalore.
Every show is special.
Your musical influences
Easy listening. Crowd pleasers. Junta numbers. The usual campus favourites.
What equipment do you use?
Whatever's available. This show we used an Epiphone LP through a Zoom 505 for rhythm, a Mex Strat through Marshall for lead, a Tansen bass and a hybrid drumkit/octapad/tabla set-up for percussion
Anything else?
Yeah baby. JBS rocks!!! (and so does BaroC)
