Hey, were Contrast, a young unsigned 5 piece rock/metal band from Weston-Super-Mare, England. Our members range from ages 14-16. We have been around since the summer of 2003, and since have written many songs and recorded some of them. Our singer, Tom only joined the band in September 2004 but learned our songs immediately and he has helped the band take a giant step forward. Our members are:
Tom Forrister Vocals and keyboard
James Wiggans Guitar, backing vocals
James Odell Guitar
Richard Clark Bass
Rob Needham Drums and backing vocals
We mainly play rock/metal but we like to add other styles of music into our songs e.g funk, prog, arabic, thrash, punk and more. We kind of sound like a cross between Iron Maiden and Rush with a bit of punk/emo.
We have already started doing gigs around Weston-Super-Mare and Nailsea and were looking to play anywhere, anytime, we just wanna get known.
We have a 3 track demo CD out and 2 other tracks recorded. We should have a full length album by Autumn 2005.

We've played live many times in Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol, Nailsea and all around Somerset - We've won a battle of the bands competition which 60 bands entered, we've supported a couple of signed bands and headlined quite a few gigs
