Hey, thanks for listening. I might actually be getting back into playing/writing more! I'v been messing around with some new stuff the last few days and have played more in these few days than I had in the last 6 months before. Hopefully I'm getting back in the groove. With some luck I might be able to record a couple more tracks when I head back home from school, you never know...maybe by late spring? Thanks again for the encouragement and kind words, have a good one, and keep rockin'!

Steve,
I listened to If I Didn't Know Better. Nice tune. I cranked it up. It has a good rockin dance beat. That is really good for a home studio. Nice work.
There are several options in pitching. If you are looking for your song to get a single song contract with an artist, you should pitch it to the music publishers. You must ask for permission first. There is a book called The 2005 Songwriters Market (The 2006 may be out now, but I don't know). That book tells you what they are looking for, and most will take unsolicitated songs as long as you follow the guidelines for what they want
You may also find an online pitch service like TAXI. I am a member, but it is around 300.00 per year. With one song, it may not be worth it.
You can use Google search to search sites that give advice on song pitching.
Good luck, and never give up!!
David
Steve,
Thanks for leaving a message on my site. I tried to listen, but the S/C player is acting up today. I will try again later. I will also tell you some ideas on pitching, as you had asked. Maybe in the next few days. Take care and have a wonderful Christmas.
David
