Heavy Metal

ARTEMIS formed in August of 2004. When we started this band we agreed that we would not do this to become rich or play in front of 40,000 people, but we would do it for the love and fun of the music. Everyone in the band has an equal say about what songs to play, learn, or whatever. There is no leader. Our set list currently consists of "53 and 3rd" and "I Just Wanna Have Something To Do" from the Ramones and "Living After Midnight" and "Grinder" from Judas Priest. Our originals: "Dagon" is a song based upon a HP Lovecraft story about an Undersea race of people. "The Ride" is about an unknown biker who died on a highway somewhere. And "One Shot, One Kill" is based upon the movie "Enemy At The Gates." ARTEMIS is currently rehearsing these songs and hopes to be performing shows publicly around the Las Vegas area by April 2005.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We are getting ready to play our first public live performance on Feb 24th at Money Plays on Flamingo & Decatur. We have played a few summer BBQ parties in the past.
