All The Living And The Dead are a French group with American and British influences, playing a style made popular by Canadians that ends up sounding Irish. Actually, they don't sound Irish, exactly; it's just that ATLATD frontwoman Virginie Lamy's voice is highly reminiscent of the Cranberries' Dolores O'Riordan. The band's vibe isn't quite so blatantly poppy, however, and if you imagine a different sort of vocalist, it sounds at times rather similar to the "alternative singer/songwriter" genre that includes Alanis Morisette and Sarah McLachlan. Lamy professes a debt to Tori Amos as well, and the influence is especially evident on the piano-driven songs such as the beautiful "Lonely Wolf" and intense "Beauty My".Have you performed in front of an audience?yes, in France.

PJ Harvey is also cited as a role model, and her darker, percussive style is evident on my own favorite track, "Excuse Me", which features a nervous driving beat and the most intense singing on the disc.
