I am called Ryan. My music is called Podestrium. The music varies in quality, usually improving as time advances and soberness subsides.
The music ranges from experimental and moody to sad and acoustic. Lately I have been recording primarily acoustic material to serve as vessels, carrying the stories of my fears, my hopes, society, nature (to which we are citizens), and the sad, unplaced longing burried in the mind of all Americans in search of that beautiful, empty dream.Band/artist history
It all started when...Have you performed in front of an audience?Northlight Books' Open Mic (Cotati) sometimes.
What equipment do you use?
Tascam portastudio, korg fx pedal, yamaha keys, fender strat, sigma acoustic, yamaha 12-string, cds and radio.Anything else?
I also do quite a bit of side projects with my friend Josh (Theokratique). Some of the music we've done together is featured on his page, soundclick.com/theokratique.htm . Amen.

i really like your style! keep it up!
Why hello there, Mr. Podestrium. You posted a message to me a year ago, if not more, and i regret to say i have not responded. I'm lazy like that i guess. I have checked out a good portion of your music, and i msut say sir, you are an array of obscure creativity. I find i like you, as a friend of course, and your brand of sarcasm tickles me. Feel free to check out some of my new stuff if you like, or just drop a line. You and your friend are interesting fellows. Take care.
I like Need You Babe, what the f*** were you singing though?! Hooray for rocking out. Always nice to find new bands who aren't stuck in a genre. Thanks for listening to the Ether Drop stuff by the way...
Dude... Killing Moths is friggin sweet. Genius... even. Oh man... I heard a lil bit of Fink Ployd in there... you know I did.
...Dude... I dig it.
