KillingEden began in 2003 under the name of "Act of Justice". After playing several gigs in the Hartlepool area the decision was made to replace drummer "Cheese" with master of the craft Bob Moore. With a new drummer came a new name and so KillingEden were born. Former bassist "Flicker" left the band and several bass players were auditioned before finding Steven from Guisborough.
A wide range of genres and synth sounds on its recordings together with a plethora of guitar textures and tones are combined to create the original "KillingEden sound". Always trying to side-step what everyone else is doing, KillingEden view emo, post hardcore - call it what you will - as a passing trend to steer clear of. Their music could be described as 'Nu-Prog'; far from what the industry is looking for at the moment. Check out this band if you love new music with a fresh sound.
