Glasgow-born producer Flood began making music in his early twenties and continues to do so, taking onboard new skills and techniques along the way. The style created is somewhat influenced by other Hardcore Techno artists but also considers those in different genres such as IDM, Techno, Drum and Bass and Hard Dance. In April 2007 Flood launches his own online record label/Website - Noize Violation - and hopes to increase exposure (cheeky) of his music to those outwith the confines of his wee studio.
Originally thought up as a name for the new label, 'Glasgow Scum' became the alias for Flood in his productions of Speedcore. Incorporating some more experimental elements to the genre standard, this take on rapid beats has led him to some interesting recipes of sound and emotion. Of course, nothing beats the odd 'messy-as-fuck' 300bpm banger. ;)
Flood also produces non-Hardcore music under his 'Aquaman' alias.
