Band/artist history
Decomposing Buttock was formed in 1962 with an entirely different lineup. DB began as a doo-wop act, but then perfected Amish techno around 1967 or so. The gas crisis of the seventies forced the original DB lineup to disband. Stu, the original vocalist, reformed Decomposing Buttock in 1982, but then died in a mysterious accident involving a slurpee machine and lava lamp. Decomposing Buttock continued as an instrumental gothic rock act through much of the 80s. They went through several drummers. It turned out Ralph the bassist was a drummer cannibal. Finally, they settled on a drum machine, but overlooked the fact that Ralph also was a drum machine cannibal, leading to a great deal of dental surgery to correct Ralph's many [failed] drum machine cannibalization attempts. Around 1990, it was decided it may not be a bad idea to put the drum machine in a steel cage suspended high above the stage where Ralph couldn't reach it. The cage was guarded by a chimp named JoJo - it turns out in a stroke of luck JoJo also was a gifted singer. He no longer guards the drum machine, however, since it's very tough to sing and guard a drum machine from a cannibalistic bassist at the same time. And Ralph has been taking mountain-climbing lessons, and is a rather skilled lockpicker..
