The band was formed in 1998 and immediately set itself to writing sincere and powerful songs. As a result, they've won or been finalists of virtually every song or performance contest they've entered:

-Winners of the CBC Showcase Competition.Have you performed in front of an audience?SiR has opened for several current CDN hitmakers and have played many high profile shows accross the nation. Memorable shows include opening for Boyz II Men, Swollen Members, Ivana Santilli and Maestro and some of the larger outdoor festivals that make a great Canadian summer.
