Born and raised on the norhside of Toledo, Ohio. J. Nelz also known as Leo or Mr. Mosity, Started writting poetry, hip hop, and R&B at age 10. He started recording himself and other locals in his home studio at age 14. His First mixtape was released in the local area of Toledo in 1999 entitled "My Type Bitch". Later in 2005 he released his second mixtape "Behind Tha Glass". His past experiences included recording with other local artists such as Crisseige, Lunacist, Spade, and J.O & Taz of Hardknocc.
