The most talented group ever formed. The Formula's goal is not to just sell records...we plan on taking over the industry. When we're done with the rap game, hip-hop itself will be synonymous with OUR name. We will not stop until we have taken number 1 AND 2 on your list of best MCs of all time. Takin' over the Detroit hip-hop scene is too easy...we want the world.
Band/artist history
Brought together by a mutual friend in a basement-studio, they were intended to be adversaries. The two true hip-hoppers in their area, they showed and proved. Their battle lasted hours until it became a freestyle session that could’ve made for classic album material. From that day on, the two became the strongest lyrical pairing anyone watching had ever seen. Ability to write about any subject. Sheer finesse when altering their flows to match any background. Stage presence due to experience. Perfectly contrasting vocal-tones. Two opposing personalities that mold to fit any listener’s taste. The Formula is THAT act! “They’re that bridge between Chino XL and JayZ” Marc Kempf (CEO of Silent Records) to Hush (up and coming Detroit producer and MC) “They’re the best MCs I’ve EVER seen perform!” Steelo (local DJ and owner of local hip-hop shop
