These are my experiences and fantasies, squeezed into melodies, my release at the end of the week, I float away to yesterday and the memories I keep. Drag them all behind me as I swim through the deep unknown, trying to understand how I've grown. And you weep for the broken homes and streets beneath the smirking clouds, the fallen crowds and distant screams of foreign lands. I sit and think of where it all went wrong through the unheard melodies of a bitter song. Our fait in blooded hands, washed clean, a plan unseen. These are my thoughts and jagged dreams, crushed into melodies, my release at the end of the week. I sink in thoughts of yesterday and the memories I keep. I started singing at a young age. Encouraged to perform by my parents I learnt to express myself best through the arts and have been influenced by the experiences of my life. Upto the age of 14 I entered Holiday talent shows and performed on Karaoke hoping I would be one of the lucky ones labelled as a 'good singer' and a 'winner' but with no luck. Still, this never stopped me, as I have always felt most confident on stage and find 'real life' conversations much more intimidating. At 14 I started doing open mic nights at the Madcap Theatre and then Zaks in Milton Keynes, with my brother David and occassionally my sister Miki, where I met and joined a band who later became known successfully as LASTORDER, at the age of 16. We had an excellent two years gigging around Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and Northampton, generally just punking it up large! But after two years, a short break turned into a long split. I then stopped playing much to start teaching dance and cheerleading, but have recently decided to jump back into the fray and do what I do best, music. And that's it!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to sing regularly at open mic nights but had a bit of a set back and dropped out of the limelight for over a year after splitting with my band and focusing more on my cheerleading career. BUT, now I'm BACK!
Your musical influences
Beatles, Tori Amos, Skunk Anansi, Alanis Morrisett, Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, Mamas and the Papas, Kirsty McColl, Blondie, Radiohead, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jeff Buckley
What equipment do you use?

Anything else?
