At centre stage a flying fiddle wails the blues and ignites a
reel. Add to that powerful charismatic vocals, an air-borne
double bass, masterful percussion, dynamic guitars, and
you’ve got a show that is quite simply not to be missed!
Formed in 1997 by a group of already accomplished, welltravelled
musicians, Prydwen began performing at festivals,
halls, house concerts, folk clubs and pubs across Canada,
the western United States, and Scotland. Their enthusiasm
and energy captivates audiences of all ages as they fly
through high-powered fiddle frenzies, new spins on old
favorites, and a fantastic collection of original songs and
instrumentals that’ll have you humming!
